Arqiva Fills The Bowls With Ease (Satcom)


[SatNews] Arqiva has solutions for Input Media's special needs. Arqiva has provided Input Media with an 11-camera Outside Broadcasts truck and an SNG truck to film and uplink coverage of the 2011 World Indoor Bowls Championships for the BBC. Between January 17th and 23rd the units were deployed to Norfolk to film all stages of the championships which last year attracted around 4.5 million viewers. The live feeds were uplinked to Arqiva’s satellite capacity with downlink and onpass via Arqiva’s UK teleports.
