Solar Walk 1.6 is designed to explore not only the Solar System, but the entire Galaxy. Among other features are your current position, the biggest cities on the globe, 10 most interesting Earth satellites, and the points of interests on Mars, Venus, and the Moon. The update starts the educational movie collection with the first video "Solar System Planets' Size Comparison". The greatest and most expressive feature of this update is the availability to explore the whole Milky Way Galaxy and find the place of the Solar System there. The users can zoom in and zoom out to turn the Solar System and the galaxy in any direction. The next features are devoted to those who are interested in discovering our planet.
The Solar Walk developers have also selected the most interesting satellites of the Earth, and now users can find them and follow their trajectories in real time. New updated version also shows your current location and names of the biggest cities on the globe. The version 1.6. brings us closer to the Moon, Mars, and Venus where we can find named points of interests on surfaces. You can catch some oneÕs imagination naming craters of Mars or Venus, or just study astronomy with your children. The educational part of new updated version is presented with the first movie about all planets in the Solar System (includes even small Pluto!), that compares their sizes.
