Hughes Communications India Ltd. (HCIL), a subsidiary of Hughes Network Systems, LLC (Hughes), has been named as the Top VSAT Operator in India for 2011 by Voice & Data, published by CyberMedia, India’s largest specialty media house, at an awards ceremony at the Hotel Lalit Intercontinental in New Delhi. Commenting on this achievement, Partho Banerjee, president and managing director of HCIL, said, “We endeavor to provide our customers with the most advanced, reliable, and cost-effective broadband satellite services in the market. For the past 12 years, the annual V&D 100 awards have recognized individuals and their companies for their extraordinary contributions to the Indian telecommunications industry.
