This year’s seminar will feature the latest advances in Ka-band, high-throughput satellite technology, and the recently announced HN9600 and HN9800 Ka-band satellite routers which incorporate the same JUPITER technology that is the cornerstone of HughesNet® Gen4 high-speed satellite Internet service in the U.S. The world’s largest Ka-band service, HughesNet serves approximately 700,000 subscribers and offers speeds from 10 Mbps up to 15 Mbps.

The company’s roadmap of future development will also be presented, including its recently announced plan to launch JUPITER 2/EchoStar XIX in mid-2016, with more than150 Gbps of capacity to further power growth of HughesNet broadband Internet service in North America.

Hughes will be presenting a series of technology workshops on various aspects of VSAT networking in its hospitality suite, Begonia 3310, Level 3 at the CommunicAsia conference venue between 18 June and 20 June.
