CABSAT — Talia Tallies Up New Service Regions

Talia, a major provider of satellite services in the Middle East and Africa, will unveil new and expanded services at the Cable, Satellite, Broadcast & Communications Exhibition (CABSAT) conference in Dubai, March 2-4 March. Services throughout all Talia service regions will substantially increase in capacity.

"Our African C band services are in great demand," said Ramiz Abbawi, Talia's Sales Director for the Middle East and Africa. "By adding additional capacity to our existing iDirect and dedicated services, as well as bringing up a completely new Ku band service, we're pushing further into one of the world's most important satellite communications markets."

"We aren't forgetting our Middle Eastern customers," said Travis Mooney, Talia's Chief Operations Officer. "We're bringing new networks online, expanding capacity on the existing networks, and have a special announcement which we'll release during the show. All I can say for now is it's going to be big."

Talia's current African services, served by Arabsat BADR-6, will both see significant upgrades, and be joined by new services on Telesat Telstar 11N. Middle Eastern and European services will benefit from new networks on NSS-12 and a sizable expansion on Telesat Telstar 12.

The Talia team will be on hand at CABSAT 2010 in Dubai, March 2-4 at stand D2-12, Hall 2, in the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
