Glowlink has been awarded a contract by a premier broadcast network to provide a Carrier Management System. The Glowlink Model 1000 Carrier Management System will provide the network real-time management and problem solving tools which will help ensure the network meets and exceeds the quality expected from viewers of their increasingly popular broadcasts. Glowlink’s DSP-based Model 1000 Carrier Management System, which is equipped with its Signal Under Carrier (SunCar™) technology, will allow the network to detect and characterize in-band interference without having to take programming off the air. The Model 1000 is also equipped with Glowlink’s patented TOP™ technology which automatically detects and measures transponder compression. The Model 1000 will integrate with the network’s existing Monitor & Control System via standard interface protocols, providing the network with an enterprise view of their ground and space payload assets. This will allow network personnel to exercise independent, positive control over their own traffic and ground equipment. The network will use Glowlink’s Model 1000 Carrier Management System to monitor both uplink and downlink signals. Glowlink’s Carrier Management System features Glowlink’s WebAccess™, allowing the network’s personnel global access via the Internet, and advanced graphical and visual data fusion, for at-a-glance executive overview of system and problem resolution status. A comprehensive reporting package simplifies report generation and trending.
