GMV Motivates Into Asia

GMV page GMV, a multinational company headquartered in Spain, has opened two commercial offices in Asia — one in Malaysia and the other in the Korean Republic.

These new offices will enable GMV to provide broader services to clients in Asia and gain a better understanding of the markets on the continent. GMV is building on a multi-year track record of success in Asia, prompting the company to set up a permanent commercial presence in the area. The Malaysia office is located in Kuala Lumpur, in the Business Center near the Spanish Embassy’s Economic and Trading Office. The Korean office is in Seoul’s Invest Korea Plaza.

GMV trades in advanced technology markets. It has become a worldwide leader in sectors such as space, transportation, and security. In the space sector, GMV has been collaborating for more than 20 years with the world’s main space agencies such as ESA and NASA. The company has expanded its successful services worldwide by setting up subsidiaries in Portugal and the USA. GMV has also established important commercial relationships in continents such as Oceania and Asia, where it boasts clients in Malaysia, Korea, China, India and Japan. In Malaysia, GMV has several projects underway. In 2007, GMV successfully set up focusGEO, flight dynamics software for geostationary satellites, in the Measat control center in Cyberjaya, near Kuala Lumpur. For the last year, together with local partner ATSB, GMV has also been setting up a coastal DGPS network to give maritime navigation aid, a project won after taking part in an international tender.
