A Ton Of INTEGRITY From Green Hills

Green Hills Software, Inc. has formed INTEGRITY Global Security, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Green Hills Software, Inc. The new company will market INTEGRITY secure separation solutions, based on INTEGRITY, the first and only operating system ever to achieve Common Criteria EAL6+ High Robustness certification by the National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP). (See next paragraph.)This is a joint U.S. government initiative governed by the National Security Agency (NSA). Only an EAL 6+ High Robustness operating system is certified to protect high value resources at risk of attack from hostile and well-funded attackers.

INTEGRITY Global Security’s charter is to use the product as the foundation to protect government and corporate cyber assets. As indicated earlier, the Compay's INTEGRITY-178B operating system has been certified by the National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP), a U.S. government initiative operated by the National Security Agency (NSA), to Common Criteria Evaluation Assurance Level (EAL) 6+, High Robustness. No other operating system has even begun the stringent EAL6+ NIAP/NSA certification process, which lists products that have started the certification process. Furthermore, Common Criteria states that "EAL4 is the highest level at which it is likely to be economically feasible to retrofit to an existing product line." INTEGRITY was designed for EAL7 – the highest level of security – and thus was able to meet the NSA’s High Robustness requirements.
