Green Hill Software + AGIS—Scaleable Strategic Solution (Comms)

[SatNews] Green Hills Software and Advanced Ground Information Systems, Inc. (AGIS) now have a strategic partnership to offer Android LifeRing™, a mobile military tactical operations center on trusted Android smartphones and tablets, built with INTEGRITY® Multivisor™ technology.

The integrated solution is a scalable command and control system for First Responders, Joint US & Coalition Forces and Security organizations. LifeRing operates on IP-based PCs, smartphones, and tablets. All users view the position and status of all other users and can digitally collaborate and interface to legacy Military C3I (Command, Control, Communications and Intelligence) systems.

The architecture at the heart of the INTEGRITY Trusted Mobile Device was first delivered to the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) to address stringent security, privacy, and manageability standards while enabling an uncompromised user experience, and dramatically reducing total cost of ownership. Devices are pre-programmed with Green Hills Software’s INTEGRITY Multivisor security technology, a separation kernel-based type-1 hypervisor that delivers a level of security that cannot be achieved with mobile OS-level mechanisms such as application wrapping, containers, access control, or encrypted workspaces. AGIS and Green Hills Software are teaming to bring the most trusted and secure COTS mobile devices to the government and public sector markets.

AGIS LifeRing loaded on INTEGRITY Multivisor smartphones and tablets is available today for trials with government and public sector users. The solution includes device acquisition and delivery, front-line integration, and technical support to both users and enterprise administrators.
