NATO... A Major Interoperability Exercise... (ISR)

[SatNews] Until December 14, 2012, the NATO Communications and Information (NCI) Agency hosts MAJEX12, a...

...key exercise for the Multi-intelligence All-source Joint ISR Interoperability Coalition (MAJIIC 2). Building on the outcome of the MAJIIC 2 Technical Interoperability Experiment, and NATO’s Chicago Summit commitment “to improve Joint Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance more broadly”, MAJEX12 brings National industry and military operators to the NCI Agency to perform key interoperability experiments that will push the MAJIIC 2 project forward in their effort to allow the Alliance to optimize the interoperable use of ISR assets and address lessons learned from NATO’s Libya campaign.

The MAJIIC 2 MAJEX12 is a follow on to the MAJIIC 2 Technical Interoperability Experiment (TIE) that took place in March 2012. It is second in a series of experiments and exercises undertaken by the MAJIIC 2 Nations in support of the development of a SOA based MAJIIC capability based on NNEC Principles, and the NATO Architecture Framework.
