You can learn about the latest international perspectives and strategies for future space development and use of space for the military through attendance at MilSpace 2010 — "Build Future Space Partnerships." The conference is going to be held from April 19th through 20th at the Courtyard by Marriott Neuilly in Paris, France.
Assess current dual-use projects and programs with national case studies looking into the development of GIANUS, MUSIS, COSMO-SKYMED as well as discuss the latest threats and issues in national space security with presentations on the Space Situational Awareness, space debris, and missile defence. Analyze the road ahead for international and European cooperation is space and network with high ranking military and government representatives and decision makers. Keynote address will be offered by Brigadier General Yves Arnaud, the Acting Commander, Joint Space Command, of the French Joint Staff; Lieutenant General (Ret.) Henry de Roquefeuli, the Military Advisor to the President, Centre National d'Etudes Spatiales (CNES), France; and Gerard Petitalot, the Senior Advisor for Military Space, also with CNES. Also offering their insights from the U.S. will be Brigadier General Jay Santee, Principal Director for Space and Cyber Policy, Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense, DoD; Brigadier General James Hayward, Air Force Space Command; Rear Admiral Sandy Daniels, US Strategic Command; Gary Payton, Deputy Under Secretary of the Air Force for Space Programs; and Joseph Rouge, Director, National Space Security Office.
