MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. (TSX: MDA) has announced that its U.S. operation has signed a contract valued at more than US$3.5 million with Boeing Space and Intelligence Systems to provide advanced technology solutions for three 702HP communications satellites. The 702HP satellites will provide global mobile satellite services, including mobile broadband communications with deep-sea vessels, in-flight connectivity for airline passengers, and streaming high resolution video, voice and data.
