SatNews @ CommunicAsia... A Meeting Of Mighty Minds

With CommunicAsia in full swing in Singapore, publisher Silvano Payne and advertising director Jill Durfee have enjoyed a number of conversations with leading satellite industry leaders and companies. For example, the Asia Broadcast Satellite (ABS) reception at CommunicAsia led energizing encounters with Mike Antonovich, the CEO of The SpaceConnection, and Penny Hill of ABS. (photo to the right)

At the Starling Communications booth, the SatNews team met with Michal Rips-Rosenzwieg who was busy talking about the company's StarPack offering, a fly-away antenna that fits in a single case and is a complete system.(photo to the left)

A visit at Integral Systems within their subsidiary Newpoint Technologies display area, Tyler Newby and Dilene Nelson were on hand to meet and greet as demos of the company's COMPASS Network Management Software (NMS) application were ongoing... highly recommended is the Newpoint-authored, upcoming article in the July/August issue of SatMagazine that explains even more about this exciting application. Dilene is pleased with her CommunicAsia issue of SatMagazine. (photo to the immediate right)

ST Teleport, with more than 28 satellites and direct connects to fiber switches in Asia and the USA, enjoyed the company that the SatNews folk brought to their booth, where Darren Loi Director of Sales and Marketing and Samantha Tan Sales Coordinator discussed the company's services and also held the latest issue of SatMagazine.
