Iran... Now It's Navid (Launch)

[SatNews] The Navid satellite was launched by Iran last Friday, making this the country's third satellite to reach orbit since 2009.

With a life expectancy of 18 months, this 110-pound satelite will manage a complete Earth revolution every 90 minutes and will send imagery back to Iran. The launch vehicle was Iran's Safir rocket and this event also marked the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic revolution.
