Telenor Satellite Broadcasting (TSBc) will be commencing transmission of Animal Planet HD at 1 degree west, starting on February 3rd. This is the latest HD channel offered by Canal Digital.

Animal Planet HD will be distributed on THOR-5, Telenor Satellite Broadcasting’s latest high powered satellite. The THOR-5 satellite effectively reaches audiences across the Nordic Region and is accessible to viewers in the standard Canal Digital family package. Animal Planet HD is a channel dedicated to the unique relationship between people and animals and commenced its first HD broadcasts in the U.S. in Q4, 2007.
