Teledyne Paradise Datacom has released their new 7RU Modular Amplifier. This is now the industry's highest power density SSPA and the unit includes Soft-Fail modular design for quick field replacement, when necessary. The indoor, rack-mountable SSPA employs a modular assembly with four hot-swappable SSPA modules that allow the unit to remain in service while any failed module is replaced. The chassis front panel is removable to access the SSPA modules, even while the unit is in operation. The assembly also includes removable fans. As only two modules are required to operate the HPA, one module is redundant. In the event of a power supply failure, the amplifier system will not fail. The module can then be changed without ever taking the HPA out of service. The 7RU SSPA is the perfect solution for the “weakest link” in your communication network.
