(NASDAQ: GCOM), a global provider of communications solutions and services, has announced that the Company has been awarded various infrastructure contracts from U.S. Government Agencies valued at $3.6 million. Under the terms set forth in the contracts, Globecomm will provide hardware, software and associated engineering services as follows:
- Summit™ terminal WGS certified X band RF Electronic kits and corresponding AxxSys Orion Monitor and Control Software
- Gateway Terminal Technology Refresh incorporating advanced modem hardware and software to seamlessly interface with client’s existing AxxSys Orion NMS platform
- Life Cycle Support services including training, installation and preventative maintenance visits
