The Kudelski Group (SIX:KUD.VX) has acquired Medialive, a company based in Montrouge (Paris), France. Medialive develops and licenses content protection and marking technologies for distribution over broadcast, internet, and mobile distribution networks and devices. The acquisition marks a turning point in the cooperation between the two companies to combine the Kudelski Group’s strengths in conditional access with Medialive’s innovative encryption and watermarking technology.
