Diving Into The African Market Is IEC Telecom's New Sub


IEC Telecom homepage IEC Telecom Group in Paris, an International Service Provider for Thuraya, Inmarsat, Iridium and SpeedCast (Vsat), with its subsidiaries SAFA Telecom in Dubai and DEVOR Technologies in Singapore, has established a new entity, ASTEC Telecom, operating from Pointe-Noire, Republic of Congo. With its new branch, ASTEC Telecom, IEC Telecom Group intends to accelerate its development in the Gulf of Guinea by selling and supporting Mobile & Fixed Satellite Telecommunication Services to the Oil & Gas Market and to other major segments such as NGOs, Government/Defense, Mining, and Fishing. The company will tackle its expansion in Africa with an extended range of solutions.

Driven from Pointe-Noire, ASTEC Telecom will develop IEC Telecom Group activities over the Gulf of Guinea by creating a major network of Value Added Distributors. The company will initially cover Republic of Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea and Gabon. The technical skills and international experience of IEC Telecom Group combined with ASTEC Telecom local expertise and customer closeness will help the company to become a major player in MSS, FSS, Radio, Vsat and Value Added vertical Solutions such as Asset Tracking, Broadcasting, and Security Technologies in the region.
