New Geospatial Data Toolkit Reveals All

Blue Marble Geographics released GeoCore, an all-in-one geospatial data translation toolkit that supports coordinate, geometry, vector, CAD, raster, and LIDAR data.

Blue Marble GeoCore webpage GeoCore gives software developers the coordinate transformation and definition powers GIS experts have come to rely on with the GeoCalc library, plus the ability to handle all of your raster and vector file format and geometry needs with GeoTranslate and GeoTransform. GeoTranslate 5.0.1 and GeoTransform 6.0 are the vector and raster components of GeoCore. Blue Marble has supported geometry based format translation for more than a decade in their Geographic Translator desktop software and their GeoObjects developer tool kit. Both tools are available as cross platform C++ libraries that will seamlessly interact with GeoCalc. With these toolkits, users can read and write many of today's most popular vector and raster file formats. Users are also granted direct access to a wide variety of geometry objects, which can be created and manipulated effortlessly. Along with these geometry objects, users are granted access to the metadata and attributes commonly associated with these geometries. Raster capabilities include components for embedding read, write, compression, and manipulation of many of today's standard GIS raster image file formats. This toolkit also adds powerful mosaicking and tiling capabilities to the single image transformation interface. New clipping interfaces allow users to manage, manipulate, and process large datasets like never before.
