The Boeing Company [NYSE: BA] has been named Large Business Prime Contractor of the Year by NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) for its efforts to work with small businesses on the Ares I launch vehicle program. NASA recognized Boeing for its work as a founding member of the MSFC Prime Contractor Supplier Council and for the Company's participation in conferences and activities devoted to supporting small businesses. Several small businesses have joined Boeing's Ares I team to provide engineering and test support, software development and other services.
