digiGO! — The Digital Revolution™ — Classroom On Demand Continues AFRTS Digital Training


Class On Demand homepage The American Forces Radio and Television Service (AFRTS) is part of the Defense Media Agency, which operates 33 full-service radio and television stations in 16 countries. The AFRTS uses seven satellites along with digital compression technology to provide services to more than 1,000 outlets in 175 countries and U.S. Navy ships. Video production ranges from nightly newscasts and feature programs to live local radio, sports and news segments.

Helping to provide training to hundreds of U.S.A.F. TV and radio broadcasters is Class On Demand®, a provider of pro education products for creative markets. The Company has just renewed their training agreement with AFRTS, which is now entering its 5th year next month. All AFRTS personnel, including broadcast producers from all four services, will have online access to a variety of Class on Demand training titles via a secure military network.
