[SatNews] NICE Systems Ltd. has acquired Lamda Communication Networks Ltd. for an undisclosed amount. Based in Israel, Lamda provides satellite communications interception technology. NICE says the company's technology addresses the growing demand for satellite communication interception capabilities and enables law enforcement, internal security, and intelligence agencies to fight crime and terror more effectively. NICE added that the company's solutions strengthen its own capabilities and complement NICE's monitoring, traffic analysis and voice analytics applications, especially the NiceTrack solutions portfolio.
