InterAct GIS webpage This transaction positions InterAct as the world’s largest public safety software company, with more than 2,000 customers across three continents. BIO-key’s mobile wireless technology empowers law enforcement personnel with the tools to gain the best situational awareness possible, including outstanding warrants, stolen vehicle reports and other critical information from Federal, state, and local databases. Using a smartphone or laptop, law enforcement personnel, firemen, and emergency medical technicians can also receive computer-aided dispatches, in addition to reliable, real-time data and images while en route or on-scene. Important to note is that BIO-key’s products have long been part of the InterAct Connections Framework, a collection of seamlessly integrated products that vastly improve the efficiency of emergency response operations, such as CAD, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Records Management Systems (RMS), and Next Generation 9-1-1 phone controllers. Hundreds of agencies across the country currently utilize the coupled benefits of InterAct and BIO-key’s integrated solution, which will be released as one, comprehensive mobile offering in the coming months. As previously announced, BIO-key’s Law Enforcement Division recently entered a partnership with Nlets, the premiere interstate justice and public safety network in the nation for the exchange of law enforcement, criminal justice, and public safety-related information. The agreement allows the use of Nlets’ network to provide wireless communication systems and support to law enforcement, criminal justice, and other government organizations.
