IndigoSat has announced their Aircraft Management system, the Indigo One, had been selected by the Maldivian Air Taxi to meet their flight operations and real‐time flight‐following requirements. The Indigo One management system features real‐time flight following, text‐based bi‐directional communication, together with flight data recording. The IndigoSat solutions additionally provide detailed management reports, enabling accurate flight statistics to be recorded and automatically incorporated in billing systems, maintenance tracking software, and can greatly improve efficiency in the management of the aircraft’s operation. The installations are expected to be completed within a few months, with operational information already available from the first aircraft.
