Utah's Dugway Proving Ground To Become Army UAV Test Center

Hunter UAV (NGC) Dugway Proving Ground has been selected as a site to integrate systems and conduct testing on the U.S. Army's Hunter, Shadow, and Sky Warrior unmanned aerial vehicles, according to a news release issued Thursday by several members of Utah's congressional delegation. The establishment of the Rapid Integration and Acceptance Center "could bring as many as several hundred good-paying jobs to Utah within two years," the release said. The center's primary missions will be to consolidate all testing of the Shadow, Hunter, and Sky Warrior and to help the Army streamline the introduction of new UAV technology to combat units. The first Shadow system is scheduled to arrive at Dugway in June, the release said. (Source: Deseret News.)
