CPI Satcom Products—Technology Showcase @ IBC2013 (Event—SATCOM)

[SatNews] At Hall 1, Booth 1.B41, CPI Satcom Products will be presenting a broad range of SATCOM products.

One of the products will be the firm's recently shipped 100th Ku-Band 1.25 kW SuperLinear TWTA. This amplifier is proving to be popular as it is the most efficient HPA in its class....even when compared to GaN. The latest GaN SSPA is 40 percent more expensive to operate, and 80 percent more expensive per linear watt. The SuperLinear ODU is less than half the size and weight of comparable GaN SSPAs, and also puts out less heat. Additional output powers and frequency ranges are available.

The next generation of solid state technology are also available from CPI. At IBC, the company will have a 100W X-band BUC and a 40W Ku-band BUC on display. All are lightweight and highly efficient. A 20W X-band GaN BUC is also available.

Also on display is the firms Ka-band BUC. This product is rugged, field proven, and built for the harshest environments. It is perfect for Satcom-On-The-Move (SOTM), micro-flyaway systems, VSATs and antenna-mount applications.
