This new model provides 10 dB of Coupling over the broadband frequency range of 26.5 to 50 GHz (Ka- and Q-bands), in a single, compact and lightweight package.
KRYTAR’s new dual-directional coupler expands their family of performance products offering ultra-broadband coverage in compact packages. Model 526550010 is a multi-purpose, stripline design that provides efficient coupling over the 26.5 to 50 GHz frequency bands, and the coupler is uniquely designed for system applications where external leveling, precise monitoring, signal mixing or swept transmission and reflection measurements are required. The coupler provides simple solutions for design and testing requirements in Ka- and Q-bands.
KRYTAR couplers offer solutions for many applications including warfare (EW) systems and commercial wireless including mmWave, 5G, SATCOM, radar, signal monitoring and measurement, antenna beam forming, and EMC testing environments. The compact size, makes KRYTAR dual directional couplers fit in many space-restricted applications. The compact package measures just 2.24 inches (L) x 0.40 inches (W) x 0.62 inches (H), and weighs just 2.0 ounces.
KRYTAR’s Model 526550010 offers Nominal Coupling (with respect to input) of 10 dB, ±1.8 dB, and Frequency Sensitivity of ±1.0 dB. The dual-directional coupler exhibits Insertion Loss (including coupled power) of less than 3.0 dB, Directivity of greater than 10 dB, Maximum VSWR (any port) is 1.80. Input Power Rating is 20 W average and 3 kW peak. The directional coupler comes with industry-standard 2.4-mm Female Connectors. Operating temperature is -54 degrees to 85 degrees C. The dual-directional coupler can also be manufactured to meet ridged military specifications.
