US-based satellite operator Loral Skynet recently announced it's merger with the Canadian satellite operator, Telesat. The merger will make Loral Skynet the fourth largest satellite operator in the world and one of only four operators with global coverage. Loral Skynet President Richard Currier spoke with Satnews Managing Editor Virgil Labrador on the merger and other issues at the NAB 2007 in Las Vegas. |
