C-COM... Financially Speaking...


C-COM Satellite Systems Inc. (TSXV: CMI) has announced financial results for its third quarter ending August 31, 2010. Revenues have increased by 34.2 percent to $2,762,374 compared with results from the same period last year, when total revenues were $2,058,866. The company is reporting a net profit of $467,350, or 1.4 cents per share an increase of 30.4 percent compared with results for the same period last year when there was a net profit of $358,460, or 1.1 cents per share. The income before income taxes increased 65.1 percent to $681,052 compared with results from the same period last year when income before income taxes was $412,465. This is a result of sales in North America increasing by $694,000, or 72.8 percent compared to the same period last year as the economic recovery continues.

“This is the company’s 26th consecutive profitable quarter. We continue to remain free of long term debt with a significant cash position. The company has recorded an accrual for future income tax payable, due to expected future earnings” said Leslie Klein, President and CEO of C-COM Satellite Systems Inc. The C-COM iNetVu® Mobile proprietary antennas, and services associated with these products, are used in mobile applications by corporations, government agencies, the military, law enforcement agencies, homeland security, construction trailers, utility vehicles, oil and gas platforms, police, fire and other security and emergency services with a need for affordable mobile 2-way high-speed Internet over Satellite connectivity.
