Haigh-Farr Keeps 'Em In The Air + More...Newest Broadband Blade Antenna


[SatNews] Haigh-Farr, a designer, developer and manufacturer of integrated antennas for defense, space and commercial applications, introduces its latest P/N 16100 Broadband Blade Antenna. This new antenna will be on display (Booth 2415), at Unmanned Systems 2015, along with several additional products within Haigh-Farr's complete line of Broadband Button and Blade Antennas powered by AUVSI (Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International).

As the latest addition to Haigh-Farr's broadband product portfolio, the 16100 covers the 2.2 to 5.85 GHz frequency range. The antenna exhibits omnidirectional coverage in the azimuth plane and a filled-in null in the elevation plane. It is available in standard and metric versions with both TNC and SMA connectors. In addition to airborne platforms, blade antennas can also be used on stationary applications and ground-based vehicles such as trucks, tanks, race cars and motorcycles, etc.
