[Satnews] Es’hailSat, the Qatar Satellite Company, announces that Al Jazeera Media Networks has launched a new HD bouquet on the Es’hail-1 satellite located at the 25.5 degrees East hotspot that covers the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

Al Jazeera is Qatar’s leading news and entertainment channel with a wide variety of programming content and a worldwide following.  An anchor customer with Es’hailSat, Al Jazeera was the first channel to start broadcasting on Es’hail-1 when it went into commercial service with transmissions on Qatar National Day, 18th December 2013.

The new Al Jazeera bouquet is being broadcast in HD, with content from Al Jazeera Arabic and Al Jazeera English currently available and Al Jazeera Mubasher and Al Jazeera Documentary Channel coming soon.
