A CyberMove By Raytheon

Providing full-spectrum cyber capabilities, including computer network defense, managed security services, cyber hardening, security operations centers, cyber ranges, vulnerability assessment and cyber training capabilities, Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN) will add to their offerings in this realm thanks to the opening of their new cyber facility in Augusta, Georgia.

The beneficiaries of the new Raytheon venue will be the Department of Defense (DoD), particularly the US Army Cyber Command after relocation to Fort Gordon, one of only a few military installations projected to grow over the next few years. In addition to being the home of the Army Signal Regiment, Fort Gordon will continue to build the Army Cyber branch and school.

The U.S. Army projects an addition of 2,600 military, 900 civilian and 200 contractor jobs to Fort Gordon's workforce by 2019, and they will boost the post's student population by about 500 service members annually.
