Spacenet IGS... Ramping Up (Operations)

[SatNews]Spacenet Integrated Government Solutions (SIGS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Spacenet Inc., is now managing operations of Raysat Antenna Systems’ (RAS) US division.

RAS, a provider of Satcom On The Move antenna solutions, was recently acquired by Gilat Satellite Systems, Spacenet’s parent company, and its US operations have been integrated into SIGS. SIGS is focused on delivering network and communications solutions to meet the unique requirements of the Department of Defense, Homeland Security, the Intelligence Community and other government agencies. The integration of RAS will enable SIGS to expand its communications offerings and increase business opportunities in the government market. RAS provides low profile and light-weight antennas and complete system solutions to the rapidly growing Satcom On The Move market. Low profile antennas are critical in meeting the stringent requirements of the U.S. DoD and other government and military markets around the globe. RAS products are modem agnostic and can work in a variety of network architectures. RAS has a diverse global customer base which includes the civil defense sectors such as first responders, emergency response, police departments and state and local government agencies.
