SATCOM Resources + Global Customers Combo Global Invacom Group Limited Acquiring Foxcom

[SatNews] Foxcom, a supplier of choice for leading satellite operators, broadcasters, integrators and broadband service providers, has been acquired by the Global Invacom Group Limited, a fully integrated satellite equipment provider.

Leveraging on Foxcom’s worldwide customer base and Global Invacom’s pool of R&D resources, Foxcom will expand its footprint in existing and new geographies while entering new product markets, as demand for professional satellite equipment grows. With the backing of a publicly traded entity, Foxcom looks forward to enhancing its value proposition with increased R&D, mass production and better customer support. Foxcom as a company will, for all intents and purposes, remain the same. Headquarters and R&D will remain in Israel.

Global Invacom Group Limited is listed on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited Mainboard (“SGX-ST”) and its shares are admitted to trading on the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange in the U.K. and operates five manufacturing plants across China, Malaysia and the U.K., providing a full range of LNB receivers, transmitters, switches and video distribution components and electronics manufacturing services in satellite communications, TV peripherals, computer peripherals, medical, and consumer electronics industries—customers include satellite broadcasters such as BSkyB of the U.K. and DISH Network of the U.S.A.

Since 1993, Foxcom has been recognized as a leading manufacturer of advanced RF over Fiber Solutions for the commercial, government and military markets, whose capabilities cover DC to 18GHz, making Foxcom a supplier of choice for leading satellite operators, broadcasters, integrators and broadband service providers.
