[SatNews] AIS Engineering, Inc. (AIS) has been awarded a contract for Commercial Satellite Communications (COMSATCOM) Transponded Capacity to provide bandwidth for the Joint Satellite Engineering Center (JSEC) for the Project Manager Warfighter Information Network-Tactical (PM WIN-T).

AIS will be providing the satellite capacity together with SES Government Solutions (SES GS). The Task Order is valued at over $50 million over the life of the contract. The Future Commercial SATCOM Acquisition (FCSA) program is managed by the General Services Administration (GSA) in partnership with the Defense Information Systems Agency. AIS Engineering is an approved vendor on other elements of the FCSA program—transponded capacity and subscription services—which are managed through the GSA Federal Supply Schedule 70 vehicle.
