Satellite Broadcasting + Communications Association (SBCA)... Willing Workers Welcomed (Business)

[SatNews] SBCA has announced that WorkMarket has joined...

...the Association as an Industry Partner Member. Work Market has built a marketplace that matches skilled workers with large and small businesses looking to fill contract needs. SBCA will work with WorkMarket to expand the certification and qualifications needed in the consumer satellite industry.

SBCA Executive Director, Joseph Widoff, said, “WorkMarket will be a great addition to our list of industry partner members. They are able to provide a service that our industry needs and because of their high quality online system we feel our installation members will enjoy the easy to use tool and benefit from the connections they are able to make nationwide.”

Members can attend a SBCA SkyFORUM Webinar on June 6th to learn more about the WorkMarket tool. Using Work Market Installation Providers, Contractors and Fulfillment companies and individual technicians use built-in networking tools, to interact and engage in order to fulfill satellite installation labor needs. More than 20,000 professionals have already joined and SBCA encourages members to join as companies and individuals. WorkMarket also provides a series of tools for businesses to test and qualify workers using online assessments. “Knowing who you are working with is key to quality in an on-demand model,” said WorkMarket CEO, Jeffrey Leventhal. “Giving our customers the ability to create custom skills assessments and training tools puts the power in our customers’ hands.”
