Intelsat on the Move

[SatNews] This move takes into consideration many aspects to make the company an even better well-oiled machine.

This July, the parent company of Intelsat General, Intelsat S.A., will be moving its Washington, DC, office to a new facility in Tysons Corner, Virginia. Then later this year Intelsat General will leave its Bethesda, Maryland, headquarters relocating to a separate floor in the same building.

The  new office will include teaming areas that will drive collaborative efforts between customers,  sales and engineering and support groups. This new arrangement will benefit both customers and employees. Mass transit such as the Silver Line of the Metro system will be opening soon, and the company is also encouraging telecommuting and flex hours, and the new location is at the heart of North Virginia's technology companies.
