SpeedCast... Expansion Is The Name Of The Game (SATCOM)


[SatNews] SpeedCast Ltd., a satellite telecommunications service provider, has announced the continuation of its expansion plans in the Middle East and Africa to deliver critical communications on land and at sea.

As a focal point for SpeedCast’s activities in both regions, SpeedCast will exhibit for the 2nd year in a row at CABSAT MENA 2011 in the U.A.E. The Company is announcing new wins and new partnerships in MENA, in addition to upcoming plans for expanded capacity to serve the Middle East region and the African continent and coastal regions. SpeedCast brings its extensive experience of delivering reliable communications to some of the most difficult environments in the world to the Middle East and African markets. In 2010, SpeedCast announced and opened a new regional headquarters in Dubai, U.A.E., to take advantage of the growth prospects for the Middle East and African regions. Dubai represents a major hub to serve the telecommunication business of both markets. SpeedCast has already experienced significant success in the region with wins for its maritime business in the Middle East as well as a major Oil & Gas project in northern Africa. SpeedCast’s Global Maritime Network provides critical communication services for maritime customers along the north, east, west, and south coasts of Africa. In addition to SpeedCast’s existing Ku- and C-band coverage, SpeedCast will soon announce plans for additional coverage across the continent and coastal regions of Africa.
