Shortlisted For A CSI 3015 Award Is IDC's LASER MPS

[SatNews] Making it to the short list for the CSI 2015 Awards is International Datacasting Corporation (IDC) with their LASER Multi Program Splicer (MPS).

IDC has been shortlisted for the category "Best satellite contribution/distribution/transmission solution." The LASER Multi Program Splicer (MPS) enables seamless content and ad insertion on multiple channels simultaneously, which is a perfect complement to IDC’s existing ad insertion solution. The LASER MPS also extends IDC's LASER Targeted Ad Insertion Platform by integrating with existing receive-site equipment, and providing support for long-format program insertion. The LASER MPS enables broadcasters to:

  • Deploy the most cost-effective and scalable solution for regionalized programming
  • Upgrade DTT networks to support regional ad and content insertion
  • Increase ad revenue through advanced targeting
  • Insert regional or local ads at the edge of the network
  • Achieve simplified and centralized blackout management

Established in 2003, the CSI awards are among the most prestigious and competitive technology awards in the industry, designed to recognize and reward innovation and excellence in the cable, satellite, broadcast, IPTV, telco, broadband/OTT video, mobile TV and associated sectors.
