[SatNews] At DIMDEX 2014 in Doha, Airbus Defence and Space will present a wide portfolio of products and solutions out of the former units Airbus Military, Astrium, and Cassidian, now comprising the new entity, ranging from from UAV, aircraft and radar systems to SATCOM services.

All former units have been key partners to the countries in the Middle East with a long-term industrial presence, and Airbus Defence and Space will seamlessly continue this policy. The show occurs from March 25 to 27 and will contribute to foster the long-lasting relationships to the customers and to build on new relations with future customers. Highlights of Airbus Defence and Spaces presentation at booth H4-40 are UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) and the navigation system DeckFinder to enable their fully automatic landing on shipdecks and moving ground, the maritime patrol aircraft C295, the security radar family SPEXER, the multi-function surveillance and target acquisition radar TRS-4D, optronics products, the RESUS emergency system for submarines, and the Yasat telecom satellite model which is in operation in the UAE. Furthermore SCOTPatrol, the next generation of terminal for SATCOM services, will be presented.
