The annual World Satellite Business Week conference recently adjourned in Paris this last week, but not before awards were handed out. One of the companies to receive notoriety was MEASAT Global Berhad (“MEASAT”).
MEASAT was named “Regional Operator of the Year” in Euroconsult’s 13th Annual Awards for Excellence in Satellite Communications.
The annual award, presented at the World Satellite Business Week conference in Paris on 14th September, recognises companies for outstanding accomplishments in the satellite sector. Winners are chosen by a panel of industry experts from Euroconsult, SpaceNews and Satellite Finance, assessing candidates using rigorous qualitative and quantitative criteria. MEASAT was recognized for its 2015 financial performance and strategic initiatives in Ultra High Definition and satellite broadband.
