Broadpoint Betterment For ICG In Gulf Of Mexico

Broadpoint logo graphic Broadpoint has announced the Company has a multi-year agreement with International Construction Group (ICG), LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of International Offshore Services.

This contract marks an extension of Broadpoint’s relationship with ICG, wherein Broadpoint will now provide the company with a VSAT communications system that complements its existing cellular service. ICG owns and operates several barges in the Gulf of Mexico with complex operations happening throughout the region. Due to these types of operations, ICG needed a reliable connection to its headquarters from a company it could count on. Poor performance, limited connectivity, and excessive downtime plagued ICG — with the switch to Broadpoint, the company immediately noticed a sharp increase in the level of customer service and support, available 24/7. The four-digit dialing and other enhancements enabled by Broadpoint’s VSAT system allowed for more robust communications from ship to shore, improving operations and reporting.
