UltiSat To Provide A U.S. Government Agency With Their VSAT Solution

[SatNews] UltiSat, Inc. has been awarded a multi-year contract to provide a managed VSAT communications network solution to a U.S. Government agency.

The communications infrastructure includes teleports, Hub equipment, more than 100 VSAT terminals, commercial Ku-band space segment and terrestrial backhaul capacity. UltiSat is tasked to upgrade, deploy, operate and maintain the entire network infrastructure for the life of the new contract cycle. UltiSat will manage this network leveraging its Secure Network Operations Center (NOC) located at its HQ facility in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

Moe Abutaleb, UltiSat’s Chief Executive Officer, said, “UltiSat has a longstanding history of deploying and operating mission-critical, high availability commercial satellite communications solutions for our customers, and this contract provides another opportunity for us to continue to support the U.S. Government.”
