Uncomplimentary weather conditions have forced Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd., and the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) to postpone the scheduled launch of the H-IIA Launch Vehicle No. 35 (H-IIA • F35).

The launch vehicle carries the MICHIBIKI No. 3 Quasi-Zenith Satellite System aboard for insertion into Geostationary Orbit. This launch is now scheduled for August 12, 2017, from 2:00 through 11:00 p.m., JST, with a reserved launch period ranging through September 30, 2017.
