Paradise Datacom... @ IBC2010 With...

[SatNews] New amps... new modems... new solutions... all being demo'd at the upcoming major event in Amsterdam.

Paradise Datacom will be unveiling a variety of new products and solutions at IBC2010, all designed to save operating costs and ensure peak performance. The company will be in Hall 1, Stand B35. For example, on display will be FastLink LDPC, a powerful, low density parity FEC for latency-sensitive applications which reduces bandwidth requirements and outperforms conventional LDPC and TPC. Also at the show, the company's PowerMAX Amplifier — high power up to 8kW with constant power output, despite failure and fully modular. Mix in Paradise's Paired Carrier Multiple Access (PCMA), which is the latest satellite spectrum-saving feature that's designed to provide satellite-based system operators with a way to greatly increase the utilization-efficiency of transponder spectrum. This brings about a reduction in operating costs, or increases the amount of information that can be transmitted over a transponder. The degree of savings depends on a number of factors, including satellite performance and link design as it relates to the ratio of transponder power and bandwidth required to accommodate. Check it all out at IBC2010.
