[SatNews] Advantech Wireless Inc. has released their new 2.5kW TROPO C-Band Modular GaN based Solid State Power Amplifier.

The new product operates over the low C-band Tropo frequency of 4.4 to 5.0GHz. and it is fully modular, with built in redundancy for all critical RF and Power Supply Modules. These new Modular Solid State Power Amplifiers are designed to be used, as direct replacement of older generation Klystrons or TWTs. The most vital feature is its modular design, which allows plug in modules, as power supplies and RF modules to be hot-swapped without any interruption of service or noticeable reduction in power.

“Our TROPO line of GaN SSPAs, is a perfect match for the new generation of high data rate, long haul, cost efficient communication links using tropo scattering technologies.
