Talia Broadband... Roll Out Refresher (SATCOM)

[SatNews] Talia Broadband continues to expand with new value-added services that include Talia BackupNet, Talia MultiNet, and Talia Phone, each addressed at different customer requirements: connection resiliency, service expandability, and voice communications.

Talia BackupNet is a data-based VSAT service. Designed to back up terrestrial, wireless, or VSAT primary connections, Talia BackupNet adds resilience to all network connections at an inexpensive rate. The service is available for customers throughout Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and South/Central Asia (Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India, inclusive) and is based on an inexpensive Ku- or C-band VSAT kit. Services are charged as pay as you go, so users never spend more than they use.

Talia MultiNet is a VSAT-based connection which allows multiple Talia Broadband customers to authenticate from a single satellite connection. Each user is guaranteed dedicated bandwidth, based on the voucher they sign in with. It is especially useful for installations which have independent customers connecting through the same uplink, as in Internet cafes, hotels, or schools. Talia MultiNet uses the same vouchers, authentication system, and hardware as Talia Broadband, allowing a great flexibility of service.

Talia Phone is a Voice over IP (VoIP) service which allows Talia customers to make worldwide calls at inexpensive rates. It is available with or without Talia Broadband services. All Talia VSAT services are configured with Talia Phone to ensure the highest call quality. There is no standing charge to make outgoing calls with Talia Phone. Incoming numbers are available from more than 30 countries for a small monthly fee. Talia BackupNet, MultiNet, and Phone services and hardware are available through selected channel partners, who also provide installation services and local support.
