On the IBC2019 Show Floor: DEV Systemtechnik's New Systems for L-Band Signal Chain


DEV Systemtechnik GmbH has launched the production of new active splitters, distribution and combining systems for the L-band signal chain applicable in satellite ground stations and broadcasting head ends — the company will be presenting their new portfolio at IBC2019 in Hall  at stand B68.

All systems feature active signal leveling and are available in single 1:8 (8:1), two 1:8 (8:1) or 1:16 (16:1) configurations in single rack unit chassis. Optional remote signal monitoring and management with the DEV web interface and via SNMP is supported as well as amplifier redundancy.

Physical input / output interfaces with 50 or 75 Ohms in SMA, BNC of F format assure a swift integration with any given network situation. Meeting the enhanced requirements of today's and future ground station and teleport networks, all systems support the extended L-band frequency range from 800 to 2.45 GHz.

Based on the feature sets and options, DEV offers more than 280 possible system configurations the customer can choose from within this product family.
