Earth Observation Small Satellite Mission Now a Funding Campaign by KSF Space

KSF Space will start a fund raising campaign dedicated to the EOSS (Earth Observation Small Satellite) space mission, scheduled for targeting in late 2019 as a remote sensing R&D project — this funding campaign is open to public and for nations that are seeking to add a positive finger print to climate change.

As environmental impacts of human activity make resource management more and more complex and, at the same time, and as the need to understand the complex natural processes increases, there is a need for critical information layers at appropriate spatial and temporal scales and extents increases, as well. Lands as well as oceans also act as vital biospheres. Climate change poses a major threat and a considerable portion of the CO2 emitted into the atmosphere is absorbed by the seas.

The EOSS mission also will be mentored by the IFGICT (International Federation of Green ICT) scientific community and the organization's members. The IFGICT is a short listed service provider by CDM-Bazar under the UNFCCC (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change), all data that will be received from the EOSS mission can be given free of cost to academics and research centers.

KSF Space will be able to examine as to what extent human activities have impacted the environment. This allows the company to make recommendations to government agencies on approaches and measures that can be taken to protect the environment amidst expansion and development. The KSF Space was initially founded to enable cost-effective access to LEO and GEO with zero-environmental impact flying solutions. The foundation encourage universities to develop R&D missions using smallsats as these spacecraft have become one of the most important elements in developing future scientific space missions.

KSF Space also recently announced the creation of the world’s first Nano-Satellite Engineering Professional Certification “NEP Certificate.” The NEP Certification pathway will validate the training and experience of aerospace engineers and experts and will be recognized by major space companies, organizations, foundations and agencies.
